It’s June Favourite Finds time! This month was all about live performances with some other goodies thrown in for good measure. A fun month, that’s for sure! I’d love to hear about your June favourite finds too!
Hamilton
After having to cancel my tickets to Hamilton in Sydney last year I finally got to see it here in Melbourne! I’m one of those people who started listening to the original cast album basically when it came out, so it’s safe to say I had high expectations for seeing the actual show! Thankfully it absolutely lived up to it and I had a seriously excellent time. I’ve now seen three live musicals this year (including one on actual Broadway!) which is makes me very happy!
Collingwood Print
I bought some prints while in the US (which I am still trying to get framed due to their different sizing!) and then realised I also wanted more local prints for my walls too! So, I picked up this Places of Collingwood print from Lawz Drawz and I absolutely love it. It’s a little tricky to photograph without reflections but it certainly has pride of place in my office now.
Melbourne Indie Voices Performance
This one is a little self indulgent for a June favourite finds inclusion but ah well! I joined Melbourne Indie Voices at the start of 2020 and of course then spent nearly two years doing choir online. We finally got to perform together – at the Recital Centre no less – as part of choir leader Phia’s album launch. It was absolutely incredible and I had such a fun time!
Frank Body Rosehip Body Oil
I have a lot of Frank Body products in my collection, but this is definitely a new favourite. I love a body oil for winter because I want something that absorbs very quickly and this meets that need completely. It also leaves my skin really soft and feeling nourished, which is obviously a key requirement as well! It’s quickly become a staple in my routine, which definitely qualifies it as a June favourite find!
