Phew, here I am with my November favourite finds – how did we get to the end of November already!? Right now I’m holed up, staying away from the internet so I can watch the new Gilmore Girls episodes without having it spoiled, but I’m happy to share some of my other favourites with you all as well!
Smith & Daughters Cookbook
I’ve shared my love for all things Smith & Daughters (and Smith & Deli) here before, so funnily enough when I saw they were releasing a cookbook I had to snap one up straight away and I’m so glad I did! It’s full of recipes that just happen to be vegan including salads, tacos, sauces, drinks, desserts, you name it. I’ve only cooked a few things so far but I have a feeling I’ll be working my way through the rest of it in no time at all!
Coconut Kitchen Scrubber
In my most recent Biome order I added this coconut scrubber into the order and it’s quickly become the best cleaning product in my kitchen! I love that it’s made out of eco-friendly, biodegradable fibres and that it also happens to be naturally anti-bacterial and incredibly strong. I know it’s weird to be excited about a dish scrubber but I’m ok with that!
New Plants
This summer I thought I would try some new plants in my little veggie balcony garden and whilst I’m yet to see any fruits yet they’re looking pretty happy! I’m excited to try out some different things and see what grows as I definitely view my gardening as an experiment, so fingers crossed the cucumber and capsicum plants do well! I’ve also got my two favourite tomato varieties back which I’m excited about as well!
The Change Box
I was lucky enough to win one of the launch boxes from a new monthly subscription box – The Change Box and I absolutely loved what I found inside. The box is full of locally made, eco friendly brands that are making a difference in some way.
This first box had some brands I have tried before (including that delicious Alter Eco chocolate!) but also lots of brands I had not heard of, but I’m now pretty excited about trying more of – which is exactly the idea of the Change Box!
So far I think my favourites are the Nude Dude candles (which are actually made very close to my home!) and the Soap for Hope scrub, but I’m also excited to give the coconut face lotion and the nail polish a try super soon. They also sell mini boxes which might make a lovely Christmas gift for someone you know!
