While I try and eat pretty healthy most of the time, sometimes I just need to whip up a baked good to have with a cup of tea, or to take to work to stave away the mid-afternoon energy slump. That was the impetus behind this cranberry, almond & choc chip slice and I was certainly happy with how it turned out! I think I’ll be making this one again soon!

Berry season is one of my favourite times of the year and when I saw strawberries for 99 cents a punnet at my local fruit & vege shop I knew I needed to pick up a few quick smart – some for eating, some for smoothies and some for these strawberry oat muffins!
Recipe: Almond Butter Cookies
I’d seen a few recipes for almond butter cookies floating around the internet and was rather intrigued about these flourless concoctions. I decided to have a play with the jar of almond butter sitting in my pantry and see what combo worked out best, and these were the definite winners.

Welcome to the new look I Spy Plum Pie! I decided it was time to change things up a bit so after a bit of a play on the weekend, here we have it! It was mainly B’s handy work, with me sitting to the side picking colours and asking a whole heap of questions, and in the end we have gone for what I think is a more streamlined, simple layout. I’m still playing with some of the features, but so far I’m liking it! I’d love to hear your thoughts too!
Recipe: Choc-Cranberry Oat Cookies
Since participating in the Sweet Adventures Blog Hop by making white chocolate and macadamia cookies I have been thinking about cookies a lot, so had to make some more! These are a little more on the healthy side but are still deliciously moreish and are perfect with a mid-morning cup of tea. If you don’t have (or like) cranberries you could use sultanas or apricot instead, but I personally think the cranberries work extra well with the dark chocolate.
