Whilst in Berlin I stayed with a good friend of mine, so to say thanks for the hospitality I let him choose somewhere for a delicious meal out, and Beuster Bar was the winner! It’s part bar – part restaurant with a cosy interior that was busy pretty much every time we went past.
Dublin Exploring: Kilmainham Gaol & Dublin Castle
In the last of my Dublin Exploring posts I wanted to share some of the fascinating historical sites Kat and I visited – Kilmainham Gaol & Dublin Castle. We really went on a learning expedition on our few days in Dublin, finding as much out as we could about Irish history & we timed things well given it was the anniversary of the 1916 uprising, and both Kilmainham Gaol & Dublin Castle were bursting with history!
Dublin Exploring: Pubs, Bars & The Guinness Storehouse
This edition of my Dublin Exploring adventures is a little less culture heavy than the last one and much more beer heavy! Ireland does beer rather well, so Kat & I set about visiting some of Dublin’s most famous pubs as well as the Guinness Storehouse!
Dublin Exploring: Cathedrals & Trinity College
After a few days in London I hopped across the ditch to do some Dublin exploring next! I had never been to Ireland before but as the whole impetus for my trip was a wedding in the Irish countryside I thought it only made sense to fit in a few days in the capital as well.
London Exploring: Harry Potter Studio Tour
One of the most fun things I did while in London was visit Warner Brothers for the Harry Potter Studio Tour and it was seriously amazing. It is located where the actual films were made and is seriously a must-see for any Harry Potter fans visiting London!
