February has been one very big month for me! The renovations are still going on at my place, so I spent most of the month back in my childhood home whilst simultaneously having an oh-so-busy month at work. It’s all been happening, so my February Favourite Finds were vital to my happiness. They include some new finds from old favourites, some absolutely new finds and, as always, there’s food involved!
Nude By Nature
Nude by Nature has long been one of my favourite makeup brands, and their products make up most of my daily products. They’re making an appearance in my February Favourite Finds not just because I stocked up on some old favourites (the pressed eyeshadows are just SO good) but a new one as well!
I picked up one of the lipsticks from their relatively new range and it quickly became my go-to daily colour for work. It’s subtle, nourishing and of course, completely free from nasty ingredients. I went with the colour dusty rose and will definitely be trying more of the range.
Vegan Magnum
Whilst I don’t follow a dairy-free diet I also don’t eat a whole lot of it, so I was intrigued when I heard magnum were putting out a vegan range of ice creams. After a little hunting I finally got my hands on a box of the almond ones and it was delicious! The ice cream was creamy and smooth and the whole thing was perfect as a treat by the pool. It’s so good that options like this are now available in major supermarkets!
Remedy Switchel
I have been a big fan of Remedy’s kombucha for a while now (maybe too much of a fan!) but hadn’t yet tried their new switchel range. I finally found myself some and it instantly rocketed onto my February Favourite Finds list! Switchel is made from apple cider vinegar and ginger and the finger lime flavour was seriously good. Zesty and refreshing, it was perfect on those crazy 40 degree days we had earlier in the month. I have to get my hands on the blood orange flavour to try too!
Rollie Shoes
Rollie shoes have been on my to-buy list for probably a year now, as I had only heard such good things about them. I finally bought myself some this month and I’ve barely worn anything else since. As someone who walks pretty much everywhere I need shoes that are light, comfortable but also work appropriate (for my not-ultra-corporate workplace) and these absolutely hit the mark. I have a strong feeling this might be the first of many pairs that will find their way in to my wardrobe!
