Loving Earth are a Melbourne based company who are dedicated to providing organic, fair trade, sustainable products from small producers across the world. They sell super foods and raw chocolate, and their range is impressive – including butters and spreads, ancient superfoods like goji berries and maca powder, raw cacao products, fruit, nuts and seeds, and natural sweeteners.
One of my favourite parts about Loving Earth are that through their website you can ‘meet the growers’ of their products, so you can learn about where the product really comes from, the methods they use and the benefits that are going back to the community. Similarly, they use their website to give you an understanding of who they are, and their reasons behind doing what they do, which is really inspiring and makes me feel good about choosing to support their endeavours.
They also provide recipes using their products and an abundance of information on all the products they stock including what it is good for, how to use it, how it is grown and its nutritional information. They definitely don’t leave you feeling uncertain about anything!
So far I have tried a few of their products and the list of what I want to buy next is getting longer and longer! The raw chocolate is beyond delicious (the crunchy mint raw dark chocolate is my current favourite flavour). The raw cacao powder and maca powder are staples in my morning smoothie rotations, and the coconut butter and coconut sugar are great for raw desserts, baking and all kinds of other uses. I have previously used their agave syrup and chia seeds, and will be restocking both ASAP!
The products are really reasonable priced and are not too tricky to find as lots of them are stocked in health food stores and specialist grocers, but the whole range can be bought through their website and posted anywhere in Australia. You can also use the store locator through the website to find a local supplier – too easy!
It’s great to know there are such great companies based here in Melbourne, doing excellent work around the world and providing us with high quality, healthy products. It’s safe to say I’m a fan!

The Cacao powder and coconut sugar make for a great chocolate-banana smoothie! Or If you use frozen bananas you can blend them into a chocolate-banana ice-cream. It’s delicious and healthy. New take on my old favourite choc-banana paddle-pop!
Also, I was looking at the oh she glows vegan website and there is this amazing looking vegan nutella recipe that you can make with the cacao, coconut sugar ingredients and hazelnuts. Drool.

Ooh I made a nutella-esque raw slice the other day using pretty much just those ingredients and some coconut butter. It lasted about half a minute with my housemates!
