It’s GoodnessMe Box time again! The September GoodnessMe Box was full of certified organic goodies – sweet and savoury, you name it. There were some brands I knew already, and a couple of new finds as well – which is really the whole point of these boxes I guess! So, let me show you what was in the September GoodnessMe Box!
My box actually came with a bonus goodie – that tote bag you can see in the photo above. It was added into the mix to mark my 1 year subscription point, which surprised me as I hadn’t realised it had been that long already. It was a lovely little gesture though, and it will definitely get plenty of use!
Only Organic Rice Cakes
These carrot and apple rice cakes may be targeted at children, but I happily ate them anyway! They were crunchy, delicious and made the perfect snack topped with avocado. It never hurts to have some extra iron in my diet either, and carrots have always been one of my favourite foods so it was a win all round.
Remedy kombucha has been my go-to for ages so I’m always excited to see another bottle in one of these boxes. This lemon, lime and mint flavour is absolutely delicious and it’s safe to say it didn’t last long in my house. It definitely wasn’t a new find for me, but it sure did make me happy!
Murray River Organics Get Up & Goji
This combo of goji berries, cacao nibs, dates, pepitas and sunflower seeds is an absolute winner. I’ve been sprinkling it on yoghurt, on top of smoothies and been eating it by the handful. Healthy, delicious and adds an excellent crunch to my breakfasts. I’ll be keeping an eye out for other flavour combination as well!
These sachets are another that are aimed at children, but they are packed with goodness so there’s no reason why I couldn’t use them too! I added them to a smoothie with lots of leafy greens and fruits and the result was delicious. I can’t really account for any specific difference they made given it was just two sachets, but they didn’t do any harm either that’s for sure.
Eclipse Organics Coconut Rough Bar
Coconut bars have always been one of my favourites so I was excited to give this one a try. It was pretty dense, and plenty sweet enough thanks to the dates. Whilst for me it could have had even more of a coconut flavour, it was still really tasty and made for an excellent mid-afternoon work snack that perked me right up. The berry and cacao mint flavours also sound delicious, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for those too!
English Tea Shop Youthful Tea
This hibiscus and rose tea was fruity without being too sweet and was really tasty. I’ve tried a lot of teas through GoodnessMe Box over the last year – and I already had a pretty extensive tea collection – but this one was a good one!
Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
I use a lot of olive oil in my kitchen, so I’m always excited to have my hands on more! I’m mostly a Cobram Estate girl but I love that this one is also not only organic but extra virgin as well. That’s super important to me. So far I’ve used this oil to make some pesto and in some salad dressings and it’s been excellent so far!
Gourmet Organic Basil
I have a pretty extensive herb and spice rack, but I didn’t actually have any dried basil so was excited to see this in the September GoodnessMe Box. I’ve used it in pasta dishes, and in pesto and it’s added excellent flavour to everything so far. I love that it is organic and the quality of the herbs is pretty clear from how strong the flavour and scent are. I am keen to try more herbs from their range in the future as well!
