It’s GoodnessMe Box time again! The November GoodnessMe Box was another absolute cracker. Curated by the Keep It Cleaner ladies it was packed with healthy & delicious goodies! As per usual I went with the vegan option of the box, and was pretty happy with what I found inside!
Ceres Organic Brown Rice Tamari Cakes
Rice cakes aren’t something I buy very often, but I’ve really enjoyed having these in my pantry. They’ve made a delicious and easy snack or light lunch, and I love that they are made out of brown rice and tamari and that’s absolutely it. Definitely something I would buy again!
Cobram Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cobram has long been my favourite EVOO (well before I got to go partake in the harvest!) so I’m always happy to have more! I’m keeping this to take with me on my next weekend away, and I know it will get good use.
Spiral Foods Coconut Oil
I go through a bit of coconut oil in my house so finding a jar in the November GoodnessMe Box was excellent! I particularly like that this one is organic and unfiltered, and it’s already been getting a workout in my kitchen. With the warmer weather finally here my skin is going to need all the help it can get too, so I might need a second jar for my bathroom!
I have tried a few natural deodorants over the last little while and I have struggled to find one I really like. I’ve been testing this Jama one out for the last few weeks and so far so good. It occasionally stings a little when I apply it, most likely due to the witch hazel in it, but it seems to be working which is the most important thing. I’ll keep using it and keep you posted on my thoughts!
Keep It Cleaner Gluten Free Porridge
Given the November GoodnessMe Box was curated by the Keep It Cleaner girls it shouldn’t be a surprise to find one of their products in the box! This porridge was super tasty, especially topped with some banana, honey and yoghurt. I don’t usually buy porridge sachets but having this on hand was perfect for a quick breakfast on one of those cold days we had in November!
Hemple Morning Glory Hemp Seed Protein
Since hemp seeds became legalised in Australia I’ve been enjoying them on salads and in smoothies, so I was pretty excited to try out this hemp protein. Whilst it’s not a flavour I would have naturally gravitated to I put it in my smoothie one morning and it wasn’t too bad. I think I’d prefer to try the vanilla or raw version, so I just might need to source them for myself!
I go through a lot of tea and Pukka is one that I generally really enjoy. As someone who has a lot of matcha in her kitchen (being friends with the owners of Matcha Maiden will do that!) this was a little different to what I expected! It’s more of a blend of black tea and matcha, with the addition of spices like ginger and cinnamon. It might not have been what I expected, but it was tasty!
Bennetto Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bar
We’ve had quite a few variations of Bennetto chocolate in the last few GoodnessMe Boxes, but I’m not complaining! This bar was an excellent size for a treat, and it was pretty delicious too! The raspberry was a little sweeter than I normally go for but it was still a great find in the Box. It hasn’t pipped the mint flavour for my favourite, or was it the toasted hazelnut? I think I need to try them again to decide!
East Bali Cashews
Last but definitely not least were these sea salt cashews. Cashews are quite probably my favourite nut and these were SO good. The right amount of saltiness, it was hard to stop snacking on them! I think I need to get my hands on the chilli lime flavour too! These were my favourite find of this month’s box and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out to buy more!
