While I was in New Zealand my October GoodnessMe Box was delivered. It was so nice to come home and have a box of goodies to explore, so I’m here to share what was in the box! I got the vegan option again this month, and once again I think it was well worth the $25!
So, what was in the box?
I’ve used herbamare in my kitchen before so I was excited to give this spicy version a try. It’s a blend of 15 organic vegetables, salt and a kick of chilli, so it’s perfect to season everything from roast veggies to sprinkling on eggs. I’ve been using it constantly, so it was definitely an excellent item to find in the October GoodnessMe Box!
Apple Cider Vinegar Capsules
I’m one of those people who are well aware of the benefits of apple cider vinegar, but struggle to stay in a routine of actually drinking it. These capsules are a really interesting option given they still include the mother. I happily took these capsules over the course of a few days, and I’m keeping an eye out for them in store now. I’d call that a success!
I got one of these balls (in a different flavour) in the September Change Box and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to try this flavour too! I’ve always been a fan of caramel so this was right up my alley and I loved it. Such a delicious snack!
Nuzest Just Fruit & Veg
I used this plant-based protein powder to make a smoothie bowl for breakfast, and whilst I loved the cacao-mint flavour I wasn’t sold on the texture. Even though my smoothie was as thick and creamy as usual it was also a little grainy. I’m not sure whether I needed to blend it even longer, or whether it just doesn’t dissolve all that well and would have been better shaken instead.
Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste
I’ve set aside this toothpaste for the next time I go away for a couple of nights as it’s the perfect size for travel. I’m pretty excited to try it out though, I’ve been meaning to give charcoal toothpaste a try since switching to a natural toothpaste a few months back.
I loved the brush from this brand in last month’s GoodnessMe Box so I was excited to discover more of this brand. The tinted moisturiser is a little dark for my super pale skin, but hopefully will be more of a match over the summer months!
I walk pretty much everywhere, so I should probably take better care of my feet than I do. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to find this magnesium foot soak in the box! I’ve used it a couple of times already and my feet are much happier for it, that’s for sure! An excellent reminder to take care of myself!
Cacao & Goji Muesli
I tried out this muesli with some greek yoghurt and fresh fruit and absolutely loved it. I particularly liked that you can see all the different ingredients including the buckwheat, goji berries and hazelnuts. The cacao flavour was pretty subtle, but super tasty. I’d happily eat this for breakfast regularly, that’s for sure.
Sprouted Buckwheat Flour
I was pretty excited to receive this sprouted buckwheat flour because I do love anything that is easier to digest! I haven’t had a chance to do any baking with it yet, but I am going to give it a try in some muffins as soon as I possibly can. Something tells me they’re going to be delicious!
I probably don’t need any more tea in my (rather extensive!) collection, but at the same time I go through it pretty quickly! I have a lot of matcha already, but the oolong tea with ginger & turmeric was a delicious new blend. I’d definitely drink that again!
