The April GoodnessMe Box was mindfulness themed and it was another excellent one. As usual, I went with the vegan version and it was full of delicious treats as per usual! So, who wants to hear my thoughts on what was inside?!
Think Foods Mini Munch
These strawberry and sunflower mini munch bites were quite a different snack to things I had tried in the past, but I loved them. Which really is the whole point of these kinds of boxes! They were packed with seeds and were crunchy, slightly fruity and all round tasty. They were excellent for work, and I will be keeping an eye out for more for some long haul flights I have coming up in a few months.
Power Super Foods Booster Blend
I got the digestion version of the booster blends, which was made with carob, yacon root and kiwi fruit powder and green banana flour. It added a delicious caramel flavour to my morning smoothie. One use is not enough to really know whether it actually boosted my digestive system, but it definitely didn’t hurt!
Madame Flavour Mint Lavender Tea
I’ve tried a few Madame Flavour teas though the GoodnessMe Boxes and this was one of my favourite flavours so far. I love mint tea in general, and the lavender added an extra bit of interest. I’ve definitely gotten back on the tea bandwagon the last few months!
Forbidden Foods Brekky Rice
This black rice and coconut breakfast rice sure was different to my normal breakfast, but I loved it. It was warming, creamy and delicious, especially topped with fresh fruit. Ive been a fan of Forbidden Foods rice for a long time and I would definitely have this again for breakfast. I might try making my own out of black rice and coconut milk!
Blue Dinosaur Super Bites
I had tried this flavour in a GoodnessMe Box before and it was just as good the second time around. It’s a tasty and perfect sized for a snack, although I’d be keen to try and few more of the flavours if they show up in future boxes.
Bennetto Natural Foods Intense Dark Chocolate
I don’t have a real sweet tooth, so dark chocolate is definitely my favourite of the chocolates! This one lived up to its name – it was intense, but in a good way! I loved having a piece or two at night with a cup of tea, and it doesn’t hurt that the packaging is great as well! Plus, it’s organic and fairtrade which is super important to me. The other flavours on their website all sound amazing as well – mint and cocoa nibs, yes please!
Teff Tribe Wild Berry and Coconut Porridge
I loved the Teff pancakes mix I got in a previous box, and this porridge was equally delicious. It was a perfect warming breakfast that was ready in no time. I topped it with banana and it was most excellent! I also loved that it is packed with fibre and protein – it kept me full for ages. An excellent new find that I will be seeking out again for sure!
Kosmea Australia Rosehip Oil and 24/7 Youth Boost
Skincare sample are my least favourite things in these kinds of boxes because I find you need to use them for a while to determine whether they work for you. I have been using rosehip oil (and oils that include it) for a while now so I will definitely use that sachet when away for a weekend. The other sachet sounds excellent as well, it’s packed with natural oils and I will definitely use it but I just won’t be able to know whether it’s worth buying from one application.
Tasti Products Smooshed Wholefoods Balls
One thing I loved about the April GoodnessMe Box is it meant I was never short of delicious snacks this month! These berry cashew balls were another winner – not too sweet, full of real ingredients and the bag is resealable so I didn’t have to eat them all at once! Another good one for upcoming travel I think!
Natural Raw C Sparkling Coconut Water
Last but not least in the April GoodnessMe Box was this mango and passionfruit sparkling coconut water. I loved this drink, it was refreshing and delicious and packed with natural flavour. I can imagine these being perfect over the hotter months, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for other flavours when it warms up again for sure!
