If you’re looking for a refreshing drink option this summer then I’ve got the perfect solution for you! This lemon basil iced tea is so delicious, super simple and is seriously perfect for warm weather. It keeps well in the fridge for a few days too!

- Strain then add in sliced lemon and fresh basil leaves and any sweetener to taste
That’s all there is to this lemon basil iced tea! It’s so simple it almost doesn’t need a recipe, but hopefully it helps inspire you to give it a try. I much prefer the flavour of cold brewing the iced tea as I find it has a less bitter end result. If you’re short on time then you can of course use boiling water and then just let it cool, but given it will keep in the fridge for a few days then prepping ahead is my advice!
I have a jug with a built in strainer that makes using loose leaf simple, but if you don’t then a french press is a good alternative, or strain through a clean cheesecloth. Teabags will work as well, just try and find plastic-free options if you can.
I loved having this lemon basil iced tea in my fridge for a refreshing alternative to water in the hot weather. The fact that it’s caffeine free is an extra bonus too!
