Apparently I’m on a bit of a cocktail run at the moment, but once you try this strawberry lime prosecco slushie you’ll understand why! It’s the perfect summer cocktail – refreshing, festive, delicious and ready in no time!
Ingredients List
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 cups prosecco
- Ice
- Lime, mint and strawberries to garnish
Steps
- Roughly chop the strawberries and blend with lime juice and prosecco until combined
- Add ice and blend until the mixture is slushy
- Pour into glasses and garnish with mint, lime slices and strawberries
I love that this slushie is ready in next to no time! No one wants to spend ages messing about in the kitchen when the weather is hot and cocktail hour has arrived! I have a feeling I will be whipping up a few batches of these this summer – hopefully by the pool at my parents place!
The addition of prosecco to this cocktail makes it feel even more festive, plus strawberry and lime are such a delicious combination. Not too sweet, not too zesty – it really is spot on! Plus look at that colour! Just remember they will melt quickly in the warm weather, so don’t try making them in advance. Lucky it takes no time at all to whip up a new batch!
