It’s November GoodnessMe Box review time! This month the box was curated by the lovely folk from Food Matters. It was packed with a bunch of new (to me) goodies and some old favourites as well. As per usual I went with the vegan version, so let me show you what was inside!
PranaOn Protein Ball
I do love having these kinds of products in my drawer at work, and this one was an absolute winner. A delicious chocolatey flavour with a bit of crunch to it – not too sweet, filling and an excellent size. I was lucky enough to get one of these at World Vegan Day too, so I was a very happy camper!
Soul Seed Snaps
I love a savoury snack so I was super intrigued to see these in the November GoodnessMe Box. They were packed with both seeds and flavour and they were slightly thicker than I was anticipating, but still with a good crunch to them. I love that you can see all the different types of seeds too. They were delicious on their own, but also excellent topped with some dip or almond butter. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for these again.
BellyUp Probiotics Drinks
This was another one I was intrigued to try from this month’s box. I think I’m a bit of a broken record in saying that coconut flavoured things don’t tend to be my favourite, but the combo of coconut and lemon myrtle worked really well together. This was refreshing and tasty! I am definitely keen to try some of the other flavours – perfect for summer.
Origin Chocolate
I don’t often not particularly enjoy anything that I find in the GoodnessMe Boxes, but unfortunately this chocolate wasn’t a favourite of mine. I found the flavour overwhelming and very bitter, and didn’t even up finishing it. Ah well, I can’t love them all!
Kez’s Kitchen Mud Bars
I’ve tried a bunch of Kez’s Kitchen products through previous GoodnessMe Boxes and have enjoyed all them, and this was no exception. I was pretty excited to see a box of five of these, that’s for sure! This went straight in my bag for work and they didn’t stick around long after that either. Nutty, chocolatey and delicious.
Barilla Chickpea Pasta
I had tried this chickpea pasta previously and loved it so I was very happy to find it in my November GoodnessMe Box. I don’t eat a whole lot of pasta, but I’ve been loving all these new options that are available in recent times. This one really is good – it holds its shape well and works really well with all kinds of sauces. I’ve never been one to struggle with getting enough protein, but having options like this sure doesn’t hurt either!
Wellness by Tess Probiotic Bite
This was another excellent snack option! This was super tasty and packed with nuts, cacao and coconut. I love that I can see all the ingredients – it certainly feels healthier than other snack options! This was a brand I hadn’t heard of before, but I will keeping my eyes open for other products in the range for sure.
Inca Protein
I’ve been back having smoothies and smoothie bowls for breakfast lately, so having protein powder to add is very helpful. This hemp and cacao powder was excellent – not gritty, blended up well and a great flavour. I haven’t actually got a full sized protein powder in my pantry at the moment, so I might need to pick up one of these!
Knowrish Well Super Latte
I have tried this latte in previous boxes, and always enjoyed them. I’ve popped this one in the pantry for a colder evening, and I know I’ll be very happy when that time rolls around! Not only is this drink pretty, but it tastes good too!
Clean Plate
Unfortunately my clean plate was broken when I took it out of the November GoodnessMe Box. I was certainly intrigued by it though! I haven’t actually had a nibble on it yet, but I love that it provides a completely waste-free option for things like picnics. Even if you don’t eat it all it certainly can be composted, and apparently breaks down incredibly quickly. I read that it works well when broken down at the end of a picnic to scrape up the remains of dips and the like, so I think I’ll give that a try!
Botanika Blends
Last but not least was another protein powder! This was a much more flavourful option that the Inca one, which in many ways limits what you can do with it. I used it to make a smoothie bowl with a simple banana base, which worked well. I generally prefer my protein powders to be more plain in flavour, but this was a nice option to mix things up a little!
